A ToT Training of the RISE Project Conducted at the University of Zakho

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, and in the presence of the President of the University of Zakho, Prof. Dr. Diyar Abdulkareem Saeed, a Training of Trainers (ToT) session under the RISE Project was officially launched at the University of Zakho.

This ToT training is part of the international RISE Project, which brings together seven Kurdish universities and two European universities, in coordination with the UNIMED.

The training will continue for six days and includes participants from the University of Zakho, including students, administrative staff, and academic members. The main aim of the RISE Project is to enhance internationalization and support career development across Kurdish universities.

 

This ToT training is the outcome of two training programs conducted at the University of Murcia, Spain, and the University of International Studies of Rome, Italy.” The main themes of the training include internationalization, employability, mobility, the role of research in higher education, alumni networks, internationalization at home, curriculum design, welcoming international students, job fairs, and international opportunities.
